Our company is a Service Division of HVS, a global consulting and services organization focused on the hotel, restaurant, timeshare, gaming, and leisure industries.
Kirby D. Payne, CHA, our President, was elected Economy Lodging Operator of the year in 1998 by the American Hotel & Lodging Associations'(AH&LA) Council of Inns & Suites (formerly the Economy Lodging Council).
Mr. Payne was 2002 Past Chair of the AH&LA and was previously President of the Minnesota Hotel & Lodging Association. Mr. Payne formerly served as Chair of the International Council of Hotel-Motel Management Companies, a part of the AH&LA.
We're proud of our latest innovation, a toll free "Employee Hot-line" for employees in any of our hotels to call Mr. Payne's voice mail directly to leave a message if they see or have a problem of any kind. Another inovation being implemented in company hotels is peer interviewing by line level employees.
We operate with high professional standards while maintaining a keen interest in the well being of our various staff members.
Besides our employee hotline here are some other things we're excited about:- Password protected on line operating manuals
- New M3 ASP accounting system giving staff and clients online access to information.
- CD-Rom based new employee orientations in English, Spanish and Creole.
- Online sexual harrasement training.
- National Geographic for Kids sent to all our employee's homes with children.
- EI Certification of ALL employees and free online correspondence courses and video training for all staff.
- We budget $15 per employee per month for staff activities some of which include family functions.
