MMI is a 50-year old company recognized by its peers as a leader and innovator in the hospitality industry.
MMI was founded in 1956 with the operation of its first property-a Holiday Inn in Meridian, Mississippi (among this national chain's first Inns). Much has changed at MMI and in the industry since. Yet MMI's founding principal of excellence in every facet of operations and its firm belief that "the guest is our true boss," will never change.
MMI is comprised of two distinct, yet fully interdependent and complementing divisions: MMI Hotel Group and MMI Dining Systems. Together, the two divisions own, manage or serve over 100 locations in the southeast U.S., bringing the MMI commitment to excellence to tens of thousands of guests each day.

Today, MMI Hotel Group is partnered with some of the nation's most admired hospitality brands, including Marriott, Hilton, 6 Continents, Choice, and Cabot Lodge. And over the years, these franchised properties have been the recipients of numerous industry awards that reflect MMI's commitment to excellence.
MMI Hotel Group also operates The King & Prince Beach & Golf Resort and The Hampton Golf Club on St. Simons Island, Georgia-one of the eastern seaboard's premier oceanfront resorts and a member of Historic Hotels of America.
In 1984, MMI established its own brand - Cabot Lodge - which today welcomes business travelers to five southeastern U.S. locations where service, amenities and ambiance combine to make Cabot Lodge visits "feel a lot like home."

First, the MMI organizational chart is an inverted pyramid. Our growing number of guests are at the top, followed below by line staff and department heads, then by managers, and down to senior management at the very bottom point. - MMI Dining Systems offers contract foodservice management opportunities in colleges, schools, clubs, restaurants and medical facilities. On-going categories of employment include: food and beverage managers; foodservice managers (with school, college and healthcare facility experience); certified chefs; sales representatives (contract services); marketing managers; and full-service management personnel.
