The World Golf Village Resort is a 6300 acre luxury golf resort and community located in St. Augustine, Florida. With 301 luxurious guest rooms and suites, 40,000 square feet of meeting space, 2 championship golf courses - the largest combined resort and conference center between Atlanta and Orlando.
The hotel features a 10 story atrium and all rooms feature upgraded amenities, including 2 televisions; 2 telephones with dataports; along with mini-refrigerators and wet bars. The hotel also features a "Full Swing" golf simulator with over 32 virtual golf courses.
The World Golf Village is also the home of the World Golf Hall of Fame and IMAX Theatre (wgv.com) along with an 18 hole (real grass) putting green, an Island Challenge Hole, the Walk of Champions with shops, boutiques, Bill Murray and Brothers CaddyShack Restaurant, PGA Tour Stop, Augustinos, PGA Tour Golf Academy, oceanfront Serenata Beach Club.

"The Slammer & The Squire" golf course. This course is a Bobby Weed course, co-deisgned by Golf Hall of Famers - Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen.
"The King & The Bear" golf course. This course is the FIRST AND ONLY course co-designed by Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer.
The resort opened in May, 1998. It is located in the northeast region of Florida in St. Augustine, 22 miles south of Jacksonville, Florida. The property is only 12 miles from the beach, historic downtown St.Augustine, offshore fishing and other recreational water activities. |
