| The Doubletree Hotel Monterey is a dynamic resort located in the heart of Monterey. Within walking distance is: Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey Aqurium, Bike and in-line skate rentals and over 50 of Monterey's best restaurants. The Doubletree is connected to the Monterey Conference Center providing us with a combined 50,000sq.ft. of meeting and exhibit space. We have 6 full time sales managers, 3 convention service managers and 2 catering managers. We do 75,000 group rooms each year and run an annual occupancy of 82-85%. We were last renovated in 1998 which encompassed the entire hotel. Our salaries and benefits exceed our competitors and for the last 4 years the sales team has averaged 25-30% bonus. |
