 Property Description

With magnificent mountain views, beautiful banquet space, and consistent, high-quality expectations of service, food and facilities, the Edgewater offers an ideal job setting.

The Edgewater's Pacific Northwest ambiance makes it the quietly-reserved alternative to Seattle's numerous urban retreats.

Guest rooms offer warm fireplaces to curl up to and sensational vistas with views of the Olympic Mountains, Seattle's Space Needle and Elliott Bay.

Rooms also feature comfortable appointments such as Ralph Lauren bedding and 'knotty pine' furnishings. In-room conveniences include complimentary bath and shoeshine kits, mini bars, and data port phones with voice mail, turndown service, and coffee service with complimentary Starbuck's Coffee.

The hotel boasts over 7500 square feet of meeting space with views of the downtown Seattle skyline or Elliott Bay. Ten meeting rooms offer a warm and intimate atmosphere, while the Olympic Ballroom and Terrace Room provide flexible meeting space and outdoor decks.

Six Seven, Seattle's newest waterfront restaurant is now open. The opening of Six Seven marks the completion of The Edgewater's $7 million renovation including structural and cosmetic improvements to both the hotel's interior and exterior.

Located on the lobby level of The Edgewater, Six Seven, the 2,200 square-foot restaurant seats 135 guests in the dining room and up to 42 guests in the adjoining bar. It offers a variety of delicious foods influenced from Northwest and Asian cuisine.

The outdoor waterfront dining captures the breathtaking essence of the Seattle area. For romantic Seattle evenings, heat lamps were installed outside in the ceiling to keep you nice and toasty. Inside, you can relax to stirring soul and mystical sounds of funk with live music five nights a week. It also includes a sushi bar with experienced sushi chef, Tom Toyama.

The Edgewater, Seattle's only waterfront hotel, overlooks Elliot Bay and the Olympic Mountains. Built in 1962 for the World's Fair, it has become a Seattle landmark. In the summer of 1964, The Beatles fished from the window of room 272 during their first American tour. The rooftop "E" provides direction for ships navigating the Puget Sound.

The Edgewater situated on Pier 67, 2411 Alaskan Way (at the foot of Wall Street), guests are within walking distance of the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Seattle Aquarium, Odyssey Maritime Museum, Victoria Clipper and Washington State Ferries.

Located next door to the Bell Harbor International Conference Center; the new Port of Seattle "Bell Street Pier Cruise Terminal"; as well as in the vicinity of EMP (Experience Music Project); the Seattle Art Museum; Benaroya Performing Arts Center; and SAFECO Baseball Field.

Hotel Edgewater prides itself in promoting from within. During the past year, we have promoted twelve (12) managers to the next position in their progression or into a new role. All of these managers had been, either in a supervisory line position or already a manager. Successful Bonus programs exist for most management positions.
