Jeffrey H. Fisher has served as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, and President of Innkeepers USA Trust since its inception in 1994. Innkeepers USA Trust is a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol KPA. Innkeepers currently owns 67 hotels with a total of 8,131 suites or rooms, in 23 states and is focused on acquiring premier brands such as Residence Inn By Marriott in markets with high barriers to entry.
Innkeepers Hospitality was formed to continue the hotel management business of JF Hotel Management, Inc., a company created in 1985 to develop, acquire, and manage hotel properties in which Mr, Fisher served as President and Chief Operating Officer until 1994. Mr, Fisher was Director and majority shareholder in IH from 1994 until the present; and in 2000 assumed the duties and responsibilities of President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. Fisher holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Syracuse University, a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University and a L.L.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami.
