The Best Western InnTowner and The Highland Club is owned by the Fiore Companies. Our "sister" property is the Heidel House Resort located in Green Lake, Wisconsin. We are located at 2424 University Avenue in Madison, Wisconsin. Our location makes us the number one choice of many Madison visitors. We are just minutes from the UW Hospital/Clinical Sciences Center, Veterans Hospital, Camp Randall Memorial Stadium, and the scenic UW campus. Shopping and all of Madison's renowned Isthmus entertainment spots, including the Capitol Square, State Street Mall and the Madison Civic Center are all just a short drive away.
The InnTowner's facilities inlcude 176 guest rooms and suites including the whirpool and entertainment suties. We also offer numerous amenities including an indoor pool, solarium and whirlpool, fitness room, game room, dry cleaning service, complimentary airport, UW campus and UW Hospital transportation, room service, cocktail lounge in hotel, Pauline's pastries, and Francie's Casual Cafe open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We can also accomodate meetings and banquets of up to 300 people with our spacious facilities. Highlights of some of our banquet facilites include the Ameche Grand Ballroom which contains natural lighting and creates a comfortable work atsmosphere. Th Executive Board Room was designed to encourage discussion and work in a private, comfortabe setting. The room features executive seating, glass block windows, and a private washroom. Our unique seminar room, Graaskamp, is the first of its kind in Madison. It has tiered, swivel seating for 63 people, state-of-the-art presentation aids, and acoustically balanced sound design.
Francie's Casual Cafe provides an outdoor ambience where we present American fare in a garden-like setting in the restaurant and on our outdoor patio. Francie's lounge is open daily, serving spirits and beverages. Local micro-brewery selections, wines and specialty drinks are featured.
The InnTowner welcomes all teams as we enjoy an excellent location and we are the closest full-service hotel to all major athletic facilities. Our staff is experienced in hosting professional, college and high school teams including the UW Football Badgers since 1990, WIAA staff, NHL, NFL and NBA teams, Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Saints, Senior Olypmics, Quebec Nordic Hockey Team, Big Ten Wrestling and many more!!
