Mountain View Inn has been in business since 1924, and under the Booher family since 1940. We are the Premier hotel and conference center in the region, leading the way in quality, ambience, reputation and technology. We are unique, having created a full service commercial hotel in the style of a classic Country Inn (see our Website).
Turnover in management is very low, with the average years on staff being about 12. They have a sense of direct involvement in the totality of the business that you can't get working for a big corporation.
Management staff enjoy an excellent benefits program including full health coverage, 401K, incentive bonus plans, up to 3 weeks paid vacation plus 4 paid days off over Christmas, educational opportunities, free access to company beach house, and discounted purchasing of many items through the Inn's buying programs
We are a true hotel in the classic sense. We are not about "heads in beds". Financial success is of course critical. But we get there by concentrating on traditions of service and quality and making our community proud to have such a fine institution next door.
We are now in the midst of a period of growth and change. We are developing new restaurant concepts, take-away services, off-premise catering and a line of signature products for retailing.
It is a great place to work in a fine community in which to live, raise a family and "get involved."
The Inn's market share breaks down as follows: about 16% of supply, 16% of demand and 22% of revenues. In addition to the Inn, there is 1 full service hotel and 6 limited service properties within a 5 mile radius. |
