C. Kevin Batters is a Graduate of the Hotel School at Westminster College in London, England. He began his career with Hilton International as part of the Trainee/Management program working at the Hilton Park Lane, London, Hilton Orly and the Paris Hilton before moving to Bermuda and working for Trust House Forte in various positions at the Belmont Hotel. In 1982 he was invited to join Hilton America as an Assistant Food & Beverage Director at the Hilton Palacio del Rio. Continuing with Hilton he later went on to become the Director of Food and Beverage at the Hilton Palm Beach and the Hilton Atlanta. While in Atlanta, Mr. Batters assumed responsibilities as Area Cluster Director of Food & Beverage for the South East Division of Hilton Hotels. In 1999 Mr. Batters was promoted to resident Manager of the Hilton Washington and was responsible for the day to day running of the property. In 2003 he was promoted to general manager of the Hilton Anchorage and has spent the last 3 years in this capacity. He was a board member of the Anchorage Convention and Visitors Bureau, Vice Chairman of the Alaska Hotel & Lodging Association and represented Alaska on the Board of the American Hotel & Motel Association. A veteran of over 35 years in the Hospitality Industry, Kevin joins Stanford Hotels as Vice President Food and Beverage in July, 2006.
