Steve Solberg has a combined total of 27 years in the hospitality industry, 13 of those years with Marriott International in varied Sales and Marketing positions. He was Director of Marketing at Marriott’s Grand Hotel, PCH’s anchor resort from 1982-1986. In 1990 Steve went to work for Embassy Suites/Hilton Hotels Corporation where he held 7 GM positions in 12 years.
He became the General Manager at the Grand Hotel Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in June 2002 overseeing the finishing product of a 30 million dollar renovation to the property. In June, 2003 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer with PCH Hotels & Resorts, Inc. the management company for Alabama Real Estate Holdings
