Property Description |
 |
The Stayer Center for Technology and Executive Learning provides a highly effective and productive learning environment, free from outside distractions, for individuals, professionalgroups, and management teams to learn, explore new strategies, exchange ideas and obtain the skills necessary to compete in an ever-changing global business environment.
Designed and built as a residential executive learning center, the Stayer Center is home to Marian's Applied Information Technology (AIT) program. The AIT program prepares information managers to understand the needs of business, the promise and limitations of technology, andthe moral and ethical responsibility that comes with working with all types of data.
Unlike many other venues offering conference and training facilities, the Stayer Center combines the latest audiovisual technology with high speed Internet connectivity, in a flexible floor plan, to accommodate groups as small 3-5 and as large as 260. The architectural design is open and full of natural light. The décor suggests the nature of Wisconsin through theuse of native limestone, maple woodwork, and original art.
The Stayer Center is named in recognition of the leadership gift given by the Stayer Family. Ralph Stayer is President and Chief Executive Officer of Johnsonville Foods Inc., Johnsonville, WI. Shelly Stayer is owner of Bravo Productions and the Fusion Café, Fond du Lac, WI. |
