Open all year, Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim) offers the only "in-the-park lodging". We are authorized by the National Park Service to provide many visitor services within the park:- Six distinctive lodges - all lodges are within walking distance of the South Rim!

- Retail shops in unique, historic buildings
- World famous Grand Canyon mule rides
- Motorcoach tours of the park

Our facilities include historic structures such as the El Tovar Hotel, Bright Angel Lodge, Hermits Rest, Hopi house, Lookout Studio and Desert View. Moqui Lodge located just outside the Park's south entrance in the Kaibab National Forest, is also a part of the Grand Canyon National Park Lodges. |

Job Requirements
There are no "easy jobs" at Grand Canyon. The work at times can be hard and demanding. Grand Canyon National Park Lodges recognizes that every job and every employee is important in helping us achieve our goals of guest service and satisfaction. Many jobs are considered entry-level positions. Keep in mind this is where you may start. We advocate a strong promote-from-within practice so advancement opportunities are ample. It's not where you start, but where you end up that matters.
Employment Dates
Lengths of employment are available from a minimum of three months to year-round. We begin welcoming employees in February each year and make "Offers of Employment" to begin employment throughout most of the year.
Appearance Standards
Although we appreciate the individuality of our employees we do have appearance standards common to the hospitality industry. Contact us if you have questions regarding our appearance standards. Grand Canyon National Parks Lodges is a drug-free workplace. Passing a pre-employment drug test is a condition of employment. |
