Our Historic address -- 501 Beach Avenue -- is the site of the original Lafayette Hotel built in 1885 by Messrs. James and Steffner. The original Lafayette suffered fire damage in 1955 and was rebuilt to what is now the Marquis de Lafayette Hotel.
In season, join us at the Fin Bar Pool Side for cocktails. For an ocean front dining experience, join us in the Pelican Club, located on the sixth floor where you will find the most magnificent view in all of Cape May. Our Restaurants are under the management of the Award Winning Washington Inn.

This penthouse restaurant at the Top of the Marquis de Lafayette Hotel has the most breath taking views of the Cape May Coastline and the city skyline of Victorian rooftops adorned with assorted colors and fixtures.
