David Schek

Founder and President

David Schek has proven to be a visionary in the business world. He has seen the potential of two business ideas in their early stages of development and gotten involved right away. Back in the early 1980’s, Mr. Schek became involved with Cellular One, the very first cell phone company. Then he changed his career track altogether to start Culi-Services, the first temporary staffing company for the food service industry. Whether his business acumen is due to being in the right place at the right time or exemplary strategic thinking, Mr. Schek is obviously good at choosing high-growth business trends.

In 1983, Mr. Schek became the Marketing Director for Cellular One, the country's first non-wire cellular telephone company. Two years later, he was appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing and became a corporate officer for Cellular Communications, Inc. During Mr. Schek's three-year tenure in this position, the company's customer base increased from 300 to over 30,000 users. In 1990, the company was sold to Pacific Telesis of California for $1.3 billion.

As President of Culi-Services, Inc., Mr. Schek develops the marketing strategy, recruits affiliates, and oversees the company’s daily management.

Mr. Schek earned an undergraduate degree with honors in History from the University of Maryland in 1980 and a Master's in Telecommunications in 1983 from George Washington University.
