Resort highlights include twice-weekly parties with entertainment, open-air dining, a pool with swim-up bar, and a lagoon pool that meanders through tropical gardens and past waterfalls.
Lanterns By The Sea - Casual, open-air restaurant under wood-beam ceiling adjacent to beach. Buffet and á la carte breakfasts. Lunch á la carte choices include samosas, fish cakes, salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, pasta, pizza, and daily special. Á la carte dinners five nights weekly, with appetizers and main courses such as jerk pork chops, steak, herb/garlic shrimp, fish. Barbecue buffet with steel band Monday evenings. Caribbean buffet with floor show Thursday evenings.
The hotel offers spacious guest studios and suites in a four-story white building (no elevators) with pastel gingerbread trim. Patios or balconies furnished with four-chair dining sets and lounge chairs provide views of ocean, pool, or garden. (An ocean view is not guaranteed.) Decor and furnishings feature floral fabrics, silk flowers, white wood and rattan furniture, tile floors, white walls with green wood trim, and partial bleached-wood ceilings.
Fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes furnish cook-at-home capability. Ceiling fans and air conditioning provide cooling options. |
