Rooms & Suites
In the world of hotel guestrooms, Sanderson's are truly unique and groundbreaking. Designed without interior walls, the bathroom and dressing room are instead encased in a glowing floor-to-ceiling glass box that is wrapped in layers of sheer curtains.
Wildly romantic, sensual and dreamlike, the 150 guestrooms, some with private gardens, feature silver-leafed sleigh beds, a rug inspired by Voltaire’s handwriting and oil paintings of soothing landscape scenes that are hung, unexpectedly, on the ceiling.
Courtyard Garden
Retreat to the private Courtyard Garden, a lush open-air oasis brimming with flowering trees, fountains, mosaics and a reflecting pool. Guests can drink, dine or simply relax in this private sanctuary that is unique in all of London.

Long Bar
At some 80-feet in length, Sanderson's dramatic, glowing onyx Long Bar is the focal point for energy at Sanderson. The beauty of Long Bar is that anyone can visit at any time, which proves to be rare for such a glamorous and well-known hotel bar. Long Bar is light, white and airy and oozes freshness and cleanliness.
Classic and innovative cocktails fill the seasonally changing menu, with guests also being able to enjoy the Ultimate Burger with a selection of varying garnishes, charcuterie and mezze sharing plates as well as Spoon's famous cheesecake and home-made cookies. Either sit around the bar people watching or relax in the sanctuary of the Courtyard.
Purple Bar
The Purple Bar, with its veritable symphony of purples, lavenders and violets, is a chic and intimate lounge that has become one of London’s hottest gathering places. Draped in violet silk opera curtains, and furnished with lavender Queen Anne chairs, purple etched Venetian mirrors, and a bar that looks like an enormous meteorite just fallen from the sky, the wildly theatrical Purple Bar feels straight from the pages of “Alice in Wonderland” – a quality that makes it the perfect setting for drinks, conversation and people-watching.
Purple Bar offers 10 oz Martinis as well as a selection of 3oz classic Martinis, all of which are based on the original Martini 'The Martinez' dating back to 1860.
The Billiard Room
The Billiard Room has a low-key clubby vibe and features an antique silver-leafed billiard table, whimsical, lodge-like antler furniture and original 50's stained glass designed by John Piper, one of the most noted British artists of the 20th century.
Aqua Bathhouse Spa
A hedonist's delight, the 10,000 square-foot Agua Bathhouse provides pampering, spiritual relief, and tranquility to all who enter. A dazzling array of rejuvenating treatments combining the best of ancient and modern techniques are offered. With its miles of diaphanous white curtains, 14 all-white treatment rooms, chill-out zone and meditation beds, the Bathhouse has a peaceful, dreamy and almost cloud-like ambiance |
