Development plans for America’s Biggest Indoor Water Park have been initiated by the Wirth Companies based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Highlight of this project surrounds a 70,000 square foot Indoor Water Park featuring a ten story water slide tower that requires access via elevator systems. The water park will provide the ultimate in family entertainment which includes a food court and arcade with redemption center.
The Wirth Companies plans encompass 400 accommodations with 245 deluxe guest rooms and 155 family & executive suites. The Hotel will provide concierge service, meeting space, a signature restaurant & lounge, parking garage, coffee & gift shop, and a 2,800 sq ft fitness center.
The Water Park Resort will be developed on the Decathlon location at 1700 E. 79th Street and I-494, adjacent to the Mall of America. With the marketing capabilities of Bloomington and the Minneapolis Convention and Visitors Bureaus, the Wirth Companies see a “Win, Win” situation for the entire state through increasing tourism dollars in an area currently attracting worldwide visitors. |
