Sportsman's Cove Lodge is a remote fishing lodge that provides our guests with more than a quality fishing trip.- When the floatplane descends into the cove, prepare to be overwhelmed by the towering green forest, active wildlife, and deafening silence. There's a clean, crisp smell in the air and the quiet waters are very inviting.
- You will be able to explore and fish the shores of Prince of Wales Island, just 24 miles from the city of Ketchikan, amidst the protected Inside Passage. There are no roads near our part of the island, and our guests welcome the non-commercialize atmosphere.
- The tranquil setting makes it easy to forget that you are only 90 minutes from Seattle via Alaska Airlines, and another 15 minutes by floatplane.
- Our rooms are double occupancy with private baths and daily maid service.
- Varied homestyle meals are highlighted by locally-caught seafood and expertly prepared by our long-time Alaskan Chef.
- Our boats are "oversized" 36-foot sportfishers designed by the owner. Each boat has a very qualified Captain and deckhand who cater to the desires of their 6 guests each day.
- Our capable dock team process you daily catch, vacuum pack your fish, freeze and pack it for your trip home.
