| Sunday River Ski Resort opened for business in 1960, and over the past 4 decades has grown to be one of the largest and most successful alpine resorts in North America. Sunday River, located in the village of Newry, is Maine's premier four season mountain resort, featuring 127 trails and glades spread across eight interconnected mountains, serviced by an award-winning network of 18 lifts. In addition to its incredible network of ski trails and lifts, Sunday River’s on-mountain lodging totals more than 6,000 beds, almost all of which are ski-in/ski-out mountainside hotels and condominiums with restaurants and cafes throughout. With over 200 year round and 1200 seasonal staff from many countries around the world, Sunday River provides an exciting and diverse work environment for its staff. |
