Luquillo is a sleepy little town, but has plenty of good restaurants, great bakery, pharmacy within 2 blocks of resort. Envision market to be the explorer type, using resort as home base. Within 20 minutes of resort is the El Yunque Rain Forest, Lighthouse Ecological Tour, Phosphorescent Bay Kayak Tour, ferry to Vieques and Culabra, snorkeling and dive trips, golf and 2 casinos. A little over 1 hour to Old San Juan, and 2 hours from Camuy Caverns.
