Ehrhardt’s Waterfront Resort is perfectly located right on the shore of Lake Wallenpaupack. The lake is the third largest in PA and has 52 miles of shoreline. We are located on the east side of the lake which provides us with incredible sunsets. The property started as an Inn built in 1928. The Ehrhardt family purchased the Inn in 1943 and is currently in the third generation of ownership.
Today the resort has grown to include:
1. A casual theme restaurant comprised of a 120 seat dining room, a 50 seat pub and a 50 seat outside dining deck.
2. A 300 seat banquet facility with its own kitchen that has earned a reputation as one of the finest banquet facilities in Northeastern PA. We provide all types of functions from weddings to private parties, corporate meetings and senior bus groups.
3. A resort currently comprised of 28 rooms and cottages which is in the planning stages of an expansion to 41 units in the next few years. This project will complete our restoration of the entire property.
The restaurant and banquet facilities are both very new and the final renovations have just been completed. The resort caters to families in the summer and couples and group businesses in the off season.
We are located in Pike which is the fastest growing county in the state. The resort is just 100 miles from New York City and 5 miles off Exit 26 on Interstate 84. The area offers an excellent quality of life with a relatively low cost of living. This resort is looking to grow and expand with the area in the future. |

The business currently has two owners. Eric Ehrhardt, President and General Manager, is a 1980 graduate of Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He worked for Marriott Hotels in the early 80’s before returning to the family business.
Craig Ehrhardt is currently the Restaurant Manager and a 1986 graduate of C.I.A. Craig worked for Sun Valley Resort in Idaho before returning to the business to run our restaurant. He has held several positions in the kitchen from sous chef to executive sous chef before moving to the position of Restaurnt General Manager
We are a great company to work for because we are relatively small and family owned, you will find we care deeply for our employees and are always there to support them. You will never be just a number at Ehrhardt's as we consider our employees an integral part of a team that constantly strives to exceed our customer’s expectations.
