Debra Ponzek is a internationally acclaimed chef who, prior to opening Aux Delices, was Executive Chef at New York City’s Montrachet and credited with its seven years of three star status. She opened Aux Delices in Riverside, Connecticut in 1995. A second location in Greenwich was opened in 2000. The retail shops offer Chef Ponzek’s culinary creations, company-branded products, and a broad range of specialty food products from some of the world’s most renowned producers of fine foods. Aux Delices Events specializes in large-scale event planning and catering for weddings, special events and home entertaining.
Chef Ponzek’s numerous awards include Food & Wine magazine’s “Ten Best New American Chefs”, the James Beard Foundation’s “Rising Chef of the Year”, and the Chef of America’s “Chef of the Year”. Ponzek was the first American to receive the prestigious Moreau Award of Culinary Excellence from the Frederick Wildman and Sons Company. Chef Ponzek’s televison appearances have included various program on PBS, Lifetime Television, TV Food Network, and the Late Show With David Letterman. |
