Michael has 24 years of experience in the wholesale and inbound tour operating business and hospitality industry. Culhane and his partners developed Gametrackers into the first premier fly-in safari company in Botswana and then built an international marketing operation selling travel all across the continent in conjunction with the top operators in North, Southern and East Africa. As an inbound operator, DMC as well as having tour wholesaler experience in North America and western Europe, and having traveled with adventure operators in over 50 countries around the world, Michael brings a ground up knowledge of what travelers and travel agents are looking for when they search for an adventure travel experience. Michael also understands the challenges faced by operators large and small as they market what are essentially highly niched businesses in sophisticated and demanding markets around the world. AdventureLink presents Michael with an opportunity to connect more travelers to more trips from more operators in more destinations by way of technology that opens the world to travelers like never before. Michael leads the charge in developing supplier, travel partner and market centric strategies for the company. Michael grew up in South Africa. He holds a BA (Econ) Hons. and an MBA from the University of Cape Town. He is a member of many wildlife and conservation organizations including WWF and the Kalahari Conservation Society.
