The Great Camp
One hundred years ago, the great camps of the Adirondecks offered weary city dwellers respite from the toils of daily life with the soothing qualities of the wilderness and the pursuit of sport. This was precisely the vision that inspired partners Chaffin, Light and Wilhelm when they created the Roaring Fork Club. Since 1999, the private club that features a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and "Gold Medal" fly fishing, has inspired and created memories for members and guests. In an appreciative nod to the Porch Societies of the last century, the Roaring Fork Club is an auto-free campus. |
